Dave Skoog 1953 – 2025

David Walter Skoog, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025.
Dave was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn., in 1953 to Walter and Elaine (Haverinen) Skoog, and grew up near Wolf Lake, Minn. He attended school in Wolf Lake, and Menahga, and graduated with an Electronics Technician degree from AZ Tech.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elaine Skoog.
Dave is survived by his children: Angela (Phil) Maki of Menahga, Brandon (Genesis) of Park Rapids, and Martina (Matt) Ruper of Park Rapids; 10 grandchildren, and his siblings: Paul (Sherry) Skoog of Long Lake, Jim (Yvonne) Skoog of Menahga, Phil (Karen) Skoog of Long Lake, Debra (Kevin) Hjermstad of Osage, Lowell (Karen) Skoog of Menahga, Steve (Diane) Skoog of Menahga, Susan (Loren) Tolkkinen of Menahga, and Joel (Kaarina) Skoog of Watertown.
A memorial service will be held for Dave at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Runeberg Apostolic Lutheran Church in Menahga, Minn.
