DeLora Tappe 1965 – 2025

DeLora Marlane Tappe, age 59, passed away on April 16, 2025, at her home in Framingham, Mass. She had been struggling with various health concerns.
DeLora Marlane was born, Oct. 12, 1965, in Wadena, Minn., the sixth daughter of Edgar and Mary (Sidenkrantz) Tappe. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Sebeka, Minn. She grew up on the farm with her parents and 11 siblings. She attended Sebeka Public School where she graduated in 1984. After high school graduation she started working (in 1985) as a nanny in Fargo, ND, Chevy Chase, MD, and Framingham, MA. She started working for Walmart in Framingham as a Customer Service Representative in 2008 until 2024. DeLora enjoyed children and her work as a nanny. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, swimming and shopping. DeLora will be remembered for her warm smile, her willingness to help others and her unique humor by her family and friends.
DeLora is survived by her siblings: Burton (Sylvia) Tappe, of Verndale, Robert, of Fargo, ND, Gerald (Bonnie), of Warroad, DeLilah, of Fargo, ND; DeOla, of Sebeka, and DeLynda, of Fargo, ND. DeLora is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Roger and Ronald; sisters DeAnna, Debra and DeElla.
It was DeLora’s wish to be cremated. A Memorial / Celebration of DeLora’s life is pending.5-7pd

Celebration of Life for DeLora will be held at the family farm, 24922 County Road 23, Sebeka, Minn. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 2-4 p.m.
