The number one seeded Sebeka Lady Trojans opened the Section 5A tournament with a decisive 3-0 victory over Verndale on October 30 in Sebeka, but home court held no particular advantage for Sebeka on November 3, when they were upended by the two-seed, Bertha-Hewitt, 3-1.
