Menahga School District 821 bond proposal voted down
Menahga School District 821 voters went to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, to decide whether or not the District should issue $8.5 million in bonds to construct a new gymnasium and new classrooms onto the school.

Voter turnout was high, with 1,075 ballots cast.

Of that total, 466 (43%) were in favor and 609 (57%) were opposed.

As a result, the question was defeated.
